Boylan urges Public to attend Information Event

Sinn Féin Assembly member for Newry and Armagh, Cathal Boylan, has urged all members of the public, retailers and business owners to attend an information event regarding the proposed legislation for traffic flow in Armagh to be implemented at the end of the Environmental Improvement scheme in the City.

'An extensive consultation process has been undertaken to develop this proposal. Traffic flow will enter the City from

Ogle Street

and their will be 4 types of parking restriction;

No Waiting at any time, No Waiting or Loading at any time, No Waiting, Monday to Saturday between 8.30am - 6.15pm and Waiting limited to 1 Hour in any 2 Hour period, Monday to Saturday, 8.30 - 6.15pm.

There will also be a number of Disabled Parking Bays implemented.'

The MLA concluded;

'It is important for everyone to take a look at these proposals, the information event will be held in the Market Place Theatre on Thursday 6th November between 2.00pm and 7.00pm and Roads Service staff will be in attendance to discuss the proposals and clarify questions and issues people may have. I would urge all those who are interested to attend and voice their opinions.'
