Mickey Brady appalled at weekend robbery

Sinn Féin Assembly Member for Newry and Armagh and the party's spokesperson on older people, Mickey Brady has said that he is appalled at the brutal robbery in Toragh Park at the weekend.

Mr. Brady said,

"This truly was a cowardly and appalling act; those responsible have preyed on the most vulnerable in our society.

"The fact that this has happened so close to a Christmas at a time when people should be enjoying their time with family and friends would make this experience all the more hurtful."

"I would urge anyone with any information they may have, no matter how small they might think it is to come forward immediately to prevent any more members of our community from going through this terrible ordeal."
