RENOVATED BUS SHELTER AT DERRYNOOSE WELCOMEDPublished: 15 December, 2008
Sinn Féin's Mary Doyle has said that she is delighted at the speed at which Armagh council has renovated the Derrynoose bus shelter.
Cllr. Doyle said,
I requested that the bus shelter at Derrynoose be renovated after being contacted in October by a resident who was very concerned that the local children, who were waiting for their school bus were exposed to all sorts of weather conditions. The panels of the bus shelter had been knocked out over time leaving just the frame standing and absolutely no shelter from the elements.
"I requested that the shelter be renovated and within seven days it was replaced, I must congratulate the council workers at the speed of their work. It is vital that Armagh council take an interactive approach to contributing to the well being of our community. I would encourage anyone who feels that we can help with any issue to either contact me or my party colleages at the Sinn Féin office in Armagh."
