Anti-Community elements in Meigh will not be tolerated - Sinn FéinPublished: 13 February, 2009
Sinn Féin Councillor Packie McDonald has condemned recent acts of criminality in Meigh.
Cllr McDonald said,
"A well known member of Meigh community has had the windows in his house broken four times in a short space of time while a building site in the area has been vandalised. A small group of people who have absolutely nothing to offer our community are responsible for these criminal acts. Anti-social and anti-community elements should not be tolerated by the people of this area. I am calling on local people to stick together and stand up to those responsible."
Cllr McDonald concluded by calling on anyone with any information about these incidents to come forward to the relevant authorities |
