Road Service gets commended for new Parking BaysPublished: 21 March, 2009
Darren McNally the Sinn Féin Councillor for Crossmore has expressed his delight at his successful application for Disabled Parking Bays in the Keady area,
"After a site meeting with DRD Roads Service I am delighted that they have agreed that there was a need for disabled parking outside the Post Office and at the Kinelowen Streetcar park. Currently they are applying for legislation to provide a space at the Post Office and I have been told the Kinelowen Streetbays will be in place in the next 4 to 6 weeks. Two of these bays will be at the entrance to the car park and the two next to the pedestrian access"
Darren said
"This is wonderful news which will provide much needed access to facilities within Keady for disabled people, Roads Service deserve to be applauded for their prompt action in this case which shows the difference a locally responsible minister can make to government departments in cutting through red tape and allowing much needed work to be carried out quickly"
