Sinn Féin MLA Mickey Brady has said that the recent Assembly Road shows in the Canal Court, Newry and the Armagh City Hotel provided a great insight for the public into the workings of the Assembly.

Mr. Brady said,

"I very much welcomed the opportunity to engage with the public in this manner and feel that this should be continued in the future."

"The road show gave the public a great insight into the work that the five main parties are doing and also gave people an opportunity to question their representatives."

Mr Brady also said that the public should come and visit Stormont to witness firsthand how it works.

"Anyone who would like to come to Stormont and meet members of our Assembly team should feel free to contact any of the Sinn Féin offices in Newry, Armagh or Crossmaglen .

Mr Brady also pointed out that the Sinn Féin leadership will be appearing at a public meeting on 29th April in Keady.

"Sinn Féin believes that through participatory democracy we can best serve the people of Ireland. As such we have held public meetings across Ireland in order to engage with the public. I would encourage everyone to attend out public meeting in the Caledonian, Keady on 29th April."
