Vandalism in Meigh condemned - McDonald

Sinn Féin Councillor Packie McDonald has condemned recent vandalism which has taken place over the past few weeks in Meigh.

Councillor McDonald said,

"There was a number incidents of crime and vandalism in the Meigh area by anti-social elements over the past few weeks."

"A number of wheelie bins were set alight in the village while graffiti has been daubed on the community centre a number of times."

These anti-social and anti-community elements are not welcome in Meigh and I would appeal to anyone with information regarding these incidents to come forward to the relevant authorities' immediatley."
