MLA Condemns "Bomb Scare"

Cathal BoylanSinn Féin MLA for Newry and Armagh spoke out against those responsible for the recent bomb warning at the Friary Road Armagh, Cathal said "Those responsible for this should be totally ashamed of themselves for the disruption they brought to the local community. At this point there is no indication who was responsible for the call but whether it was someone's idea of fun or a more sinister element I would urge them to wise up"

"Besides the disruption to traffic those mainly inconvenienced by their actions are the people put out of their homes while the search was carried out, this included pensioners', those with young children and some who were ill"

"I again urge those responsible to stop, if it is "a bit of fun" think of those forced from their home and the worry they feel about what they may be returning to, if it someone intent on disrupting the peace process, then they must examine their actions, and realise that the only strategy which will bring about peace and unity is the one being pursued by Sinn Féin
