Newry hi-jacking condemned

Sinn Féin MLA for Newry/Armagh, Mickey Brady has condemned the robbery of a car in the Patrick area of Newry today. A woman was dragged out of her BMW car before the thief sped away.

Mr Brady said,

"I utterly condemn the actions of this thug. The sheer audacity of this crime is also shocking as it took place in broad daylight.

"I would appeal to any witnesses who were on

around 5.45 today to contact the relevant authorities."
