Keady car theft condemned - Sinn FéinPublished: 19 October, 2009
Keady Sinn Féin councillor Darren McNally has condemned the theft of a car in Keady on Friday night.
Cllr McNally said;
"A car was stolen on Friday night from the Glenview area of Keady. Although, the owners were lucky enough to recover the car it had been damaged. It is believed that the car had been stolen by anti social elements who wanted the car for nothing more than joy riding.
"This is an extremely worrying development. Anti-social behaviour is becoming increasingly damaging in this area. Local businesses have been robbed and now they have moved to car theft. These local hoods have held the Keady community to ransom for far too long. I would urge people to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity so that we can put an end to these crimes."
