Sinn Féin MLA for Newry/Armagh, Mickey Brady, has condemned the assault of man in Newry last night.
"I want to condemn this assault outright and extend my support to this young man and his family.
"I would appeal to any witnesses who were on the Rathfriland Road last night to come forward.
