Cloughoge safety group recover two stolen vehicles

Local Sinn Fein Councillor Packie McDonald would like to commend the Cloughoge Safety Group for their part in the discovery of two stolen vehicles. The cars, which appeared to be parked up awaiting collection in the Cloughoge area, were removed by the PSNI on Friday.
Councillor McDonald commented," Thankfully due to the alertness of the local Safety Group two stolen cars were recovered which may have been used in the commision of other crimes in the area. This community will not tolerate criminal elements operating in its midst. I would encourage residents to support their Safety Group in its endeavours to keep Cloughoge crime free."
Refering to the onset of winter and the short evenings, Packie requested that all those
attached to the Safety Groups in South Armagh re-dedicate themselves to the protection of their communities.
