Southern Health Trust secures funding to repair hydrotherapy pool

Sinn Féin MP for Newry/Armagh Conor Murphy has welcomed correspondence from the Southern Health Trust which confirms that the Trust has secured the required funding to repair the hydrotherapy pool at Daisy Hill Hospital. The pool had been closed some months ago following the discovery of a leak. Welcoming the news Mr Murphy said; "I recently met with the Southern Health Trust in order to discuss a number of concerns regarding Daisy Hill Hospital. One issue which we discussed was the need to the repair the damaged hydroptherapy pool. "I am deighted that the Trust has secured the required funding to repair the pool and hopes to reinstate the service by early April. "This news will be welcomed by all patients from this area who needed to travel to Craigavon Hospital as a result of the closure of Daisy Hill's pool."
