NEWRY AND MOURNE COUNCIL PAY TRIBUTE TO OUTGOING ULSTER GAA PRESIDENTPublished: 16 February, 2010
Newry and Mourne Council are to send a letter of congratulations to outgoing Ulster GAA President Tom Daly. Proposing the letter Councillor Pat Mc Ginn paid tribute to Tom stating that he had shown great leadership, integrity and vision as both president of the Ulster Council and the Ulster 125 GAA Committee. "Tom as Uachtarán Comhairle Uladh, has been a regular visitor to this area. He is recognised by all those who met him as an articulate well informed man of integrity and vision and his promotion of the GAA throughout all communities is just one of the key achievements during his time spent as Ulster GAA President." Said the Sinn Fein Councillor. |
