Sinn Fein Drugs Information Booklet

The booklet lists all of the most common drugs used by young people and describes how these might affect users both during use and as the effects are wearing off. Also included are contact details of useful agencies if you have a drug problem or suspect that someone close to you does.

MP Conor Murphy welcomed the production of the booklet saying, "Sinn Fein recognises the full cost of drug and alcohol abuse to society. Overdoses, road deaths, hospital stays, addiction treatment, gangland feuds, intimidation and antisocial behaviour are all effects of drug use. We believe it makes sense to invest in prevention and treatment now and this booklet, we hope, will be used as an educational tool for young people and their parents."
