Mr Murphy said, "I have been active on many issues in the environs of Armagh City, things like ensuring the Armagh west link didn't infringe on local housing developments and supporting the campaign against cuts to jobs and services in Armagh Hospitals. In addition Sinn Féin's councillors on Armagh District Council give excellent local representation on the ground."

The Minister thanked local Sinn Féin activists who had assisted in this visit to Armagh. "Sinn Féin's support on the ground throughout the constituency continues to grow. Thanks to the help of local activists this campaign launch provided an excellent way to engage directly with the public in Armagh."
