Sinn Féin MLA to meet Utility Regulator on Interconnector

Cathal Boylan, Sinn Féin Vice Chair of the Assembly's Environment Committee will meet with the Utility Regulator, Iain Osborne, on Wednesday 12th August to discuss NIE's controversial proposal to erect a 400kv overhead power line through large areas of Armagh and Tyrone, part of a joint project with Eirgrid, its counterpart in the 26 Counties. Organic Farming a real asset - Gildernew

Camlough community association agree that new community centre should be built as soon as possible

Subsequent to the high court ruling on the will of the late Betsy Doyle, the executers to the will, the Camlough Community Association and representatives of the church with their legal team have sat down and agreed that the building of the community centre and an all weather playing field should go ahead as soon as possible. This decision was guided by the economic appraisal carried out by an independent set of accountants, KPMG. It has been agreed by all parties that the community centre must be economically viable and therefore KPMG has recommended the building of an all weather pitch that in turn will generate funds for the upkeep of the community centre Read full article
