Councillor hears mounting concerns about proliferation of "Head Shops" at major Addiction Conference

Newry and Mourne Sinn Féin Councillor Pat McGinn has stated that there is growing concern about the impact of "Legal High" substances and the threat they pose to communities. The Councillor spoke following his recent attendance at an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention Conference organised by the GAA which he described as highly professional, informative and thought provoking. Sinn Fein Drugs Information Booklet

Sinn Fein in South Armagh has recently published 10,000 copies of a drugs information booklet. The booklet, which has been sponsored by Jonesborough Market Committee, will be distributed around homes, youth groups and sports clubs in the area and is designed as a guide for parents and those working with young people. Sinn Féin activists eager to begin the fight for every vote - Murphy

In preparation for the upcoming Westminster Elections, Newry & Armagh Sinn Fein MP Conor Murphy has hosted a series of meetings with local activists across the constituency. These meetings were held in five locations across the electoral area; Newry, Armagh, Dromintee, Mullaghban and Camlough and were used to connect the party leadership with the grass roots campaigners and the wider public.
