Newry Armagh Sinn Féin Sinn Féin -- Building an Ireland of Equals

Darren McNally - Armagh City & District Council

Darren McNally has been a Sinn Féin activist since 1997 when he played his part in helping Keady's first ever Sinn Féin Councillor, Brian Cunningham get elected. He has been a committed and active republican ever since. Darren was a founding member of the McVerry/McElvanna cumann where he served as chairman last year.

During the assembly elections Darren held the position of Director of Elections for Keady and played a huge part in helping fellow Keady man, Cathal Boylan get elected.

The father of 2 was co-opted onto Armagh City & District Council on 28th January 2008 in order to allow Cathal Boylan to concentrate on his assembly duties. Since then Darren has proved his ability as a Councillor dedicated to serving his community.

From August 2008 Darren McNally will take over the position of DPP chairperson.

In his spare time Darren is a keen Armagh GAA fan and a very keen bullet thrower.
